The 8th International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group Annual Meeting (ITMIG 2017), is going to be held on September 21 – 23, 2017 in Torino, Italy. This important conference will highlight the latest scientific and clinical developments related to the management of thymic malignancies and will bring together established scientists and clinicians from all over the world who have interest in the field of thymic cancers research. You could take a little bit of extra time to travel through a territory of art, culture and nature.
The editorial team of AME Publishing Company is going to attend the meeting this year and to exhibit our journals and books, e.g Journal of Thoracic Disease (JTD: https://jtd.amegroups.com/) that has just received its impact factor of 2.365 for the year 2016, and the Mediastinum (https://med.amegroups.org/) which is newly launched in 2017. We would be honored to meet new friends and old friends there, and report significant information of the congress to our readers.
JTD had very successful cooperation with ITMIG in 2015 to publish a meeting abstract issue: https://jtd.amegroups.com/issue/view/158; and a special issue: https://jtd.amegroups.com/issue/view/174. This year, the updated meeting issues and focused issues on specific topics will be published in the new journal Mediastinum. We sincerely hope to cover the brilliant contents of the annual meeting and provide a wide platform for all the researchers to share their experience and provide the readers with the most updated knowledge in the field of thymic cancers research.
