We are delighted to present the 2024 Annual Report of Mediastinum. The journal has continued to build on its international editorial board, diverse authorship and readership, steady publication volume, and significant growth in website engagement. This year, a new milestone for Mediastinum was becoming the official journal of the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG).
Editorial Board: Mediastinum has an international board of 47 members from 15 countries, with the largest proportion from the USA (34%), followed by Japan (21%), Canada (7%), France (7%) etc.
Authorship: Mediastinum published 54 articles in 2024, including corresponding authors from 10 countries, primarily from the USA (39%), followed by Japan (31%).
Readership: Mediastinum attracted 48,689 website users from 192 countries/regions, with the USA representing highest percentage (21%).
Pageviews: Mediastinum saw 140,665 pageviews in 2024, nearly double the 77,498 views recorded in 2023.
