Editorial on “Distribution of malignant lymphomas in the anterior mediastinum: a single-institution study of 76 cases in Japan, 1997–2016”

Mediastinal tumors differ in type and frequency depending on the mediastinal compartment. The tumor location, site of origin, area of existence and extension, and inner structure are extremely valuable factors in image interpretation and diagnosis.
